معنی
The name Actaeon comes from Greek mythology. Actaeon was a hunter who stumbled upon the goddess Artemis while she was bathing. For this intrusion, Artemis turned Actaeon into a stag, and he was subsequently torn apart by his own hounds.
Derived from the Greek Aktaion (an inhabitant of Acte, the ancient name of Attica). The name is borne in Greek mythology by the son of Aristaeus and Autonoe. While hunting one day, he chanced upon Artemis bathing in a stream. She thereupon transformed him into a stag and he was hunted down by his own dogs. (AK-TEE-UN)
